Rehema Education Fund, is a 501(c)(3) IRS tax-exempt organization established to help educate intelligent Kenyan children from underprivileged/poor families advance their education past middle school.

Rehema was founded by three friends; Peninnah Mutungi, Theresa Okeyo Owuor, and Millie Tutlam. From as early as 2014, we have helped students in Kenya by providing them with scholarships. Coming together to form Rehema has enabled us to receive donations from generous family members, friends, colleagues and other individuals, and businesses.

Our vision is a world that embraces quality education as a prerequisite for a child to succeed in life, and as an act of justice that must be applied to all Kenyan children.


Our Mission

Our mission is to help Kenyan children from poor, underprivileged backgrounds especially from single parent homes, advance their education past middle school. 


Our Objectives

  • To provide scholarships to poor underprivileged students.

  • To provide empowering resources such as books to assure that these students have an equal opportunity to succeed in their education.

  • To improve the learning environment and eradicate barriers to education.

  • To inform and connect our scholars and other students in need with resources offered by our partners.
